Kyle Johnson
Counselor
My name is Mr. Kyle Johnson and I am your school counselor. I was born and raised in Iowa and have lived in the Twin Cities for the past 12 years. I'm about to enter my 18th year as an educator and my 5th year as your school counselor here at Nokomis South. :) I've been a social studies teacher, a special education teacher, a volleyball coach and a high school counselor.
I enjoy running, golfing, watching and talking sports, fishing, hiking, camping, going up north, traveling and spending time with my wife and our dog, Lucy.
Here are a few of my Goals for this school year:
- To give all students the academic, social-emotional and college and career development skills they need.
- To help provide a supportive and fun school environment for all students.
- To help students be a good friend and citizen and discover new things about themselves.
