Staff Profile

Amy Chuhel has been a Montessori Children's House teacher since 2015.  Amy graduated from the University of St. Catherine with a BS in Elementary Education with a preprimary license.  Amy has  also received her Montessori Certification from MMTC in Illinois.

Amy enjoys coming to school and watching the excitement of learning happening everyday.  The Montessori philosophy states that we follow the child and continue to expand their learning.  Amy is buliding a safe community where everyone can be challenged and building self esteem and the love of learning.

Amy lives in Cottage Grove, MN with her husband Brad. They enjoy taking trips in their off road Jeep.

She has two adult children, Alex and Andrew.
