Children's House

Children's House includes children in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. Our classes tend to have about 10-11 Pre-K students and 12-13 Kindergarten students. Each classroom is guided by a full-time licensed teacher and a full-time educational support professional. In addition, at every grade level at Nokomis Montessori South we have educators that support the classroom depending on the needs of the learners. It is common to see 3-4 adults in a classroom at any given time. 

In addition to building the foundation for academic learning, our educators in Children's House guide children as they practice how to be part of their school community--how to play, solve problems, and explore the world around them.
